Start the search: let's define the Scenario. We define your audience through research to users: questionnaires, interviews, focus groups are the instruments which we normally serve to learn more about the intended target. The results are condensed in Personas, which represent the archetype of our users and provide standard guidelines for designing user-centered systems. How do we want users to perceive our product or service? We place the brand and its competitors within models that meet the fundamental values and characteristics, to arrive at the definition of value giudelines on which to work.

From research to action. There are two main activities in the planning stage: the Information Architecture and Interaction Design. Every decision has as reference the information set out in the definition phase, every decision is taken according to the customer. Here we create the final schedule and give the impression to our final project. The design is made up of choices and then shared with the customer needs and adherence to the expectations of our users. Depending on the project, we choose the most viable techniques so content, interfaces and processes create a mix in terms of effective communication and usable from the perspective of users.

No product that has not been tested and "approved" by the intended users can be called a user-centered product. For this reason, we face the serious phase of testing. In addition to normal testing activities associated with the operation of the system, we conclude the design of digital products with one or more sessions of usability testing. During the sessions we require users selected and grouped in a representative sample of our target, to use our system, concentrating on hot spots that could cause misunderstanding and, therefore, the abandonment of the system. With usability testing, we have the extraordinary opportunity to see if our product works and we can develop a legitimate assumption linked to its future success. Thus the user-centered design ends and the virtuous circle in which business goals are pursued by building suitable systems, understandable and relevant to their audiences is closed.
